NSAB has collated a range of safeguarding adults information resources in response to the developing situation with COVID-19 and associated social, work, and leisure restrictions, these can be accessed via the resources tab on our website at safeguardingadultsnotts.org

The Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) has recently launched a new Regional Safeguarding Outreach programme to focus on working collaboratively with safeguarding and recruiting organisations.

A lot of organisations will be stretched to capacity providing care and support services currently and may have to use volunteer or bank/ agency resources.

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 situation, the Board is following current Government advice and as a result, NSAB’s popular Referrer Training course currently has no dates set for this year.

As our first bulletin since the appointment was made, we have pleasure in formally welcoming Ellie Joyner to the vacant half-time board manager role, who will be working with half-time board manager Emma Darby.
