New NSAB Logo
8 February 2021
As you will have noticed from the banner on this bulletin, Nottinghamshire Safeguarding Adults Board has adopted a new logo. The ‘Blue Man’ logo has been in use for many years, and it was felt that the time was right to thank him for his service and allow him to retire gracefully, as we aim to adopt something we feel is more representative of the Board and its partnership; that with the partner organisations, members and care providers, as well as with the adults in Nottinghamshire with whom we work directly and indirectly to reduce and remove the risk and experience of abuse and neglect for adults at risk in Nottinghamshire.
The selection of options for our new logo was discussed at service user groups, and via consultation in the NSAB ebulletin. The final two choices were then discussed at the recent NSAB Development Day, and the overwhelming majority voted for the design you see above.
You will begin to see the new logo on correspondence from NSAB as we move our branding over to the new model. Eventually this will be on all media from NSAB, website, posters/ leaflets, events etc. reflecting our strategic priorities, our strength in partnerships in Nottinghamshire and our focus on further developing our engagement within Nottinghamshire communities; especially amongst those who may previously have been considered to not have a voice.
