Nottinghamshire Safeguarding Adults Board

This was the first full board meeting to have taken place since the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic

Update delivered to the Board from the Quality and Market Management Team at Nottinghamshire County Council regarding care homes and their current situation including:

 

  • Monitoring staffing, PPE etc across providers
  • Monitoring and supporting those providers using agency staff
  • Increased information sharing including weekly meetings with the Care Quality Commission
  • Infection prevention and control measures

 

The Board passed on its thanks to the Quality and Market Management Team for all the fantastic work which has taken place.

 

  • Organisational updates were provided from Adult Social Care, Clinical Commissioning Groups, Sherwood Forest Healthcare Trust, Nottinghamshire Healthcare Trust, Nottinghamshire Police, and Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service in terms of the work which has taken place during the pandemic
  • Safeguarding data from the MASH provided for analysis
  • Annual reports on the Learning Disability Mortality Reviews were provided by the CCGs
  • Healthwatch safeguarding service user feedback pilot report was signed off
  • Discussion regarding equality and diversity within Nottinghamshire Safeguarding Adults Board and Partnership, and in our broader approach to safeguarding in Nottinghamshire
  • Thanks were given by the Independent Chair of the Board, Allan Breeton, to all agencies represented on the Board for their continuing hard work preventing, and supporting those who have experienced, abuse or neglect within Nottinghamshire, especially given the many difficulties faced by all organisations during the pandemic
