Level 1 Safeguarding Adults Awareness Training Pack

A lot of organisations will be stretched to capacity providing care and support services currently and may have to use volunteer or bank/ agency resources.

To get any new, extra, or temporary staff to the correct level of Safeguarding Adults knowledge quickly, please consider the level 1 Safeguarding Adults Awareness Trainers Pack developed by Nottinghamshire Safeguarding Adults Board to support you in delivering safeguarding adults awareness training to your staff team.

This pack contains all the information that we would expect staff to know at this level, as well as a couple of group exercises to promote discussion and thought about safeguarding adults.

If your organisation already has a level 1 safeguarding adults awareness package that covers the required competencies as described in NSAB’s Competency Framework and Learning Pathway you may continue to use that package, although you are welcome to make use of any information contained within this Trainer’s Pack.

However, if your organisation does not have a level 1 package, or your package is out of date, we have provided this free resource to support and add to your current learning offer.
