New Online Safeguarding Referral form for Adults is LIVE

23 October 2020

Nottinghamshire County Council (NCC) is introducing a new online form for non-urgent referrals into the Multi-agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) with effect from Wednesday 21 October 2020 to replace the existing form. The new form will be used by the general public, NCC staff and several professional organisations.

Following feedback from representatives of partner organisations, NCC decided to delay the closure of the email referral route to those Partner organisations who depend on emails as their only viable route into the MASH until they have had the opportunity to consult with you and/or your representatives further and address the concerns that you have raised. If you currently use the Online Referral Form please continue to do so.

If appropriate, colleagues can refer using the new online referral form with effect from Wednesday 21st October 2020. This can be found on the MASH website.

Next Steps:

NCC will be commencing a full programme of engagement with partner organisations in the coming weeks. Our project team will be contacting all Partner organisations who access the MASH and setting up meetings to work with you to explore this further and look at training and support in moving from email referrals to the new online form. Meetings will commence in early November with your key operational and strategic colleagues to better understand your processes and any issues you have with using the form so that we can jointly explore potential solutions.

NCC would like to take this opportunity, to thank you for the feedback you have provided so far. We look forward to your support in working towards these necessary changes to improve the quality of information being provided to the MASH.
